We are looking for an experienced and passionate Shopify Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing, customizing, and maintaining Shopify-based e-commerce websites, ensuring optimal performance, scalability, and a seamless user experience. You should have a strong understanding of Shopify’s ecosystem, including themes, apps, and third-party integrations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, customize, and maintain Shopify websites and themes.
- Create custom Shopify themes and modify pre-existing themes as required.
- Integrate third-party applications and Shopify apps.
- Collaborate with designers to translate mockups into responsive Shopify websites.
- Optimize site speed and performance.
- Troubleshoot and debug issues, perform QA, and ensure cross-browser compatibility.
- Implement custom functionalities using Shopify APIs and Liquid programming.
- Ensure SEO best practices and clean code standards are followed.
- Maintain regular communication with project teams and provide technical guidance where required.
Requirements:
- Proven experience working on Shopify platform (Shopify Plus experience is a plus).
- Strong knowledge of Liquid, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and jQuery.
- Experience with Shopify APIs and custom app development/integration.
- Familiarity with version control tools like Git.
- Understanding of UX/UI best practices and mobile-first design principles.
- Knowledge of third-party integrations such as payment gateways, ERP, CRM, shipping systems, etc.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with headless Shopify (Hydrogen/Storefront API) is a plus.
- Familiarity with other eCommerce platforms is a plus (e.g., Magento, WooCommerce).
- Basic understanding of SEO, analytics tools, and CRO best practices.
